Different applications for automated blasting
The COB71A (picture left), COB71AR, COB71AT and COB51XLA have been specially developed for automated dry ice blasting for:
- dry ice cleaning (for ex. car parts before painting)
- deflashing thermoplastic, rubber or silicone parts (for ex. injected parts of Mobile phones)
- cryogenic cooling (for ex. shrinking)
Depending on the requirements CRYONOMIC offers 4 models of automated blasters:
- COB71 A: basic automated blaster (for ex. for conveyor belt cleaning)
- COB71 AR (picture left): extensive automation applications in cooperation with I/O of robots
- COB71 AT: like COB71AR with touchscreen, remote control and more options
- COB51 XLA: like COB71AR but larger machine with more possibilities

Succesfull example of COB71AR machine:
Tire mould cleaning: the 6-Ax robot manipulates the CRYONOMIC robotgun to remove rubber from the aluminum mould. Semi-automated machines are installed in many tire plants worldwide for saving time, manipulation and curing downtime while increasing productivity of the tire curing operations.
